1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or purchase something from our store, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and delivery address, along with the details of your orders.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address, which gives us information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
  • To process, pack, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
  • To send you order confirmations and updates about your order by email or SMS.
  • With your permission, to email you about our store, new products and other updates.

3. Sharing Your Information

We will NOT sell or rent your email address or contact information to anybody, and we will not spam you. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only for that purpose:

  • Razorpay, to process your payments. Card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
  • Delivery and logistics partners, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address to deliver your order.
  • Email and SMS providers, to send you order notifications.
  • Hosting and cloud storage providers, who store our data securely on our behalf.

4. Promotions

Occasionally, we may send you flyers and special promotions from MMG Special Foods. If you would like to receive our updates regularly, please add support@modakfoods.com to your contacts or mark our emails as "Not Spam".

5. How Do You Get My Consent?

When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your payment, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or give you an opportunity to say no.

6. How Do I Withdraw My Consent?

If, after you opt in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time by emailing us at support@modakfoods.com. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. Passwords are stored in hashed form and all traffic to the store is encrypted. We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
