Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. Introduction

MMG Special Foods ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on the Modak online store (the "Site"). This policy explains what they are, which ones we use and how you can control them.

2. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to the website on later requests, which lets the site recognise you, for example to keep you signed in. Local storage is a similar browser feature that stores data on your device but does not send it to our servers.

3. Cookies We Use

We use only cookies that are necessary for the Site to work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics or tracking cookies. On secure (HTTPS) connections, the cookie names below carry a "__Secure-" or "__Host-" prefix.

  • Session cookie (next-auth.session-token): keeps you signed in to your account. Without it, you cannot log in or place an order.
  • Security cookie (next-auth.csrf-token): protects sign-in and other forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • Redirect cookie (next-auth.callback-url): remembers which page to return you to after you sign in.
  • Shopping cart (browser local storage, "shopping-cart"): remembers the items in your cart on this device. It stays on your device and is not sent to our servers until you place an order.

4. Third-Party Cookies

When you pay for an order, the checkout window is provided by our payment partner, Razorpay. Razorpay may set its own cookies to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud. These cookies are governed by Razorpay's own privacy and cookie policies.

5. Controlling Cookies

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can remove or block cookies, and clear local storage, through your browser or device settings. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in, keeping items in your cart or completing a purchase.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new type of cookie. Changes take effect when posted and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. For more about how we handle your personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
